| The
science seminar series has been funded by a generous grant from
the Friend's of Marblehead Public Schools 2004-2006. The
science department is very grateful for this group's continued support. The science seminar series is modeled off its university namesake. Experts from industry and/or college campuses are invited to Marblehead to give a talk on their research. Presentations are made on topics such as medical research, astrophysics, environmental issues, chemical engineering, and DNA research. Our goal is to provide our students an opportunity to be involved in this collegial and intellectually exciting environment. These once-a-month meetings are held on Fridays in room D204. Refreshments are served a 2:45PM with a 45 minute presentation starting at 3:00PM. There is a 15 minute question and answer period following the presentation. |
